Feng released Summer at Camp Lakepine on 21 August, seven tracks running thirteen minutes and fifty-eight seconds. It came out on Weekendrockstar LLC — his own imprint, named after last year's debut album.

"Fake Friends" arrived as a standalone single on 14 August, a week before the EP it opens. The titles read like a run of specific memories rather than a concept — 2023 Summer, Coachella, Diary — which tracks with a record named after a summer camp.
Feng has 1,660,889 monthly listeners and has been covered by Dazed, Pitchfork and British Vogue, with co-signs from Kid Cudi and Skrillex. He is one of the largest artists this index tracks, and among the few in it operating a label of his own.
